Thanks. I just ordered these https://amzn.to/2G3vm5j in the classic jeep logo. Its supposed to be the newer style that doesn't need magnetic switch.
Yep, saw those. I like the carbon fiber look on those too. Let us know how they are when you get them. I might buy one just for the case and swap the picture out...

Finally all in. Jl specific falcon shock retrofitted to work with steersmarts.
Looks awesome! This is what I'm looking at doing to mine, plus the LCAs, to try and fix my "drifting" issue I have. Did you have an issue with steering that you were trying to correct or did you just do it for an upgrade?

Question - why is the key fob in people's hands while inside the vehicle? If you have the feature, it should be a button push on the door handle. If you don't have the feature, I would imagine someone would either reach into their pockets or purse to push the unlock, then leave it in there before they get in the vehicle.

I don't have the button feature... so I usually put the fob or leave the fob in my pocket after unlocking the door.
It fell out of my pocket and into the blackhole - among other things - my son dropped his phone into the black hole so the problem is not just for key fobs.

Were you getting bump steer or death wobble?

If so, Did this setup correct that for you?

Trying to address bumpsteer without spending money on parts I don’t think I should have to buy.

Key thing here is, my wife borrowed my Jeep, i.e. it's not her daily driver and she doesn't know what to do with the fob. I'm still amazed that something so big can find its way into an almost unreachable place.

Understood. Blackhole = still not a good thing.

I had no issues at all but I'm a suspension guy. I like to compete the package. Steersmart and falcon have amazing products. I have all 8 arms in. No drifting at all. Tight like a Porsche.

I had no bump steer or wobble at all. I will tell you it's a serious upgrade compared to what it was prior.

Nice!
You got anymore info on this install, I see all the parts from Steersmarts, but wondering about how the Falcon SS was modified to work with this setup. Did you just drill out the original bracket and then use the steersmarts relocation bracket?
Also what draglink, did you get the Griffin attenuator?

I sent the shock back to teraflex and they retrofitted the Clamp bracket for 1 5/8 tierod. I had to purchase the clamp naturally.

Expect a 17 year old to do this on his Civic but not on a Jeep. Why would you put red lights like that on when they are illegal?
Yep. I'll never grow up. I think it's cool. =-)

Also purchased the JL front trackbar relocation bracket. To make it all work.

No attenuator. I'm iffy on that. Its better than rock solid.
