So, I took Youngest to an early morning practice and then hung out with my dad and my brother and went fishing. Nothing was biting! Stupid fish! Dad gets the results of his Pet scan tomorrow..wish us well, please.

Thanks RA ya too much fluid around the knee for the xrays to show anything, waiting for MRI

Ya, my xrays the day of injury just showed that bones were intact. Nothing useful.

I saw the sportsmed doc at one week who confirmed the tear through physical exam. Saw the surgeon maybe a week and a half later, and he decided I was a candidate for surgery based on the physical exam. I didn’t get an MRI. Most people do, though. Injury was March 15, Surgery was April 23 (if you are wondering about timelines).

Well I reinjured an old injury, and Telluride has some radical terrain plus it has dumped over 4 feet of snow in the past 3 weeks. It is a record year for us

At least it happened skiing in fantastic conditions. This year, I’ve chatted with people who did it in the lift line. That’s a crappy story.... you’ve got a good one.
