Just got done installing mine. Going to end up hardwiring it so it turns on when doors are open. Thing is BRIGHT!

How'd ya flip the rear view mirror?

Twisted it....and then as it was pressed against the passenger airbag warning light (the point of no return) I just went for it and abracadabra it flipped.

The instructions for the light explain it very well as you run the wires up the roll cage and tap into the dome light.

I did the install per the instructions and a YouTube video. Releasing the dome light plug was a pain in the @$$! There was next to no room to get into it and there was very little slack to move the roll bar cover around.

In short, no...not in my picture. The correct way is shown in SteadyC's post (#11915). I need to flip the filter around.

Painted the trail emblem (still need to paint the Jeep emblems) and added some decals to fit my Sting-Gray/Orange pallete. Red just isn't my thing. More to come!

Yesterday I was able to put on the taillight covers, new college license plates, removed warning labels on visors and flipped my mirror (amazed at how much more I can see out the front windshield). Woke up this morning to our first snow and since I am a teacher, we got a snow day due to unsafe driving conditions. This allowed me time to install my 3rd brake light ring. Gave me a reason to drive in the snow to test it out

I've been meaning to do the 3rd break light mod and get rid of the light above the tire to give some extra visibility. Also any tips on flipping the mirror? I tried to do mine but it didn't seem to come off.

No flaws with the operation of the unit yet. I did have some issues with the JL switch mounting pod, but ended up making it work. I'm also not thrilled with the LED backlighting on the switches. From the driver seat some rocker lights look brighter than others making it difficult to determine if an accessory is on or off.

Where did you mount the switches? Pic?
