Nearly a month with my JL, decided to share my progress.. Credit to the forum for most of these ideas..

Installed a Rubicon Steel bumper, Rugged Ridge headlight covers, Green Rigid radiance pods, and plastidipped the grill..

Used the Mopar mojito rattle cans to spray the interior..

jl2.webp

Installed an ARB twin compressor with MORE bracket.. Waiting on parts to finish the wiring.

jl10.webp

S-Tech 4 switch with Mopar cubbies... Regret not getting the 6 switch btw, if you are going to do all that work, might as well go for 6 switches, instead of change to 6 switches later on.. Scott at S tech is great. I made an error with my order and he called me to explain that I'm an idiot and refunded me for the parts I didn't need..

jl1.webp

Some Molle bags from amazon on the tailgate.. the straps weren't tight enough so I used zipties..

jl6.webp

I might need a bigger fire extinguisher..

Kinder how did you mount the little torque set Pouch that jeep gave you? Did you just put a loop and put it through the loop and have it hanging through the loop with a zip tie ?

No zip ties on that one, i used the strap. I forced the straps through the slots on all the bags, but used zip ties on the bigger bags because they sag..

I don't know how you do that because you can't go through and come back through with something big only a zip tie is small enough to do that at least that's what I found.nevermind I just went out and looked at my bag I see what you're talkin about there's that one strap.so you did what I did on the bigger ones you took it off put zip ties through and made little rings and then put the straps on the bags through the rings ? One guy put big holes in the vents and ran the molle bag straps back through there I wasn't going to do that zip ties work fine that way I can take him off easy if I want and put other bags on their I just had to take one on the bottom and pull it back towards the top on that zip tie holding it because when I put weight in there they sag and couldn't close the door. so I had to pull them up by pulling it back up with zip ties

Youre right, i just remembered the strap was too short to come in then back out of the slots so for that one i had to cut the plastic on the slots so it would fit.. on the other big bags i simply fed the zip ties through the little rings on the back of the bags and tightened..

Like I said my black ones are like a cheap canvas but that red one I bought came from the same company is supposed to be the same brand but it's a nicer canvas like a silky nice cameras. Definitely better than the black ones and it supposed to be the same company but it's not that happens on Amazon sometimes

They came like that with the jeep. My understanding is the Sahara and Rubi have them in the center part of the rear seat and they fold down, sport/sport s have them on the floor
With the Rubicon and Sahara the cup holder is on the floor if it's clothe seats and in the center rest if it's leather seats.

Installed the fender “welting”. My problem hasn’t been rocks (though that has been an issue) but instead has been crap calling from trees (leaves, twigs, nuts, berries) that get stuck in the fender gaps.

How is the build quality of the Mopar rails? Are you happy with them? I'm contemplating them or a set of Yakima or Thule.
