What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Installl 5” and 7” Mopar lights

I have the 7" down low and I love 'em... just don't do what I --- I mean, what my friend did. I'll let post #25 speak for itself.

After removing the front bumper air damn and fender/bumper closure panels, I mounted a 20" Nighlight led light bar on the front bumper. Light bar fits PERFECTLY on the lower portion of the bumper. No drilling required!

I also removed the Wrangler Sport S Unlimited stickers from both sides of the Wrangler, added smoked license plate covers to the front and back, and added some 'Merican flags.

Got the new KMC XD140 wheels put on the wife’s 2 door rubi today. These are a new release and really like the look. They stick out just a little more than stock,

Got some flat black grille inserts (Rubicon look-alikes) for my Sport. Will upload pictures of it on the Jeep tomorrow. Fit is actually pretty good, you just have to work it down as low as possible as to cover up all the paint on the inside. Time will tell if it actually holds up.

It's pretty funny to me sir to find your grill up against a coffee table. Allow me to explain why.

Perhaps rather putting it on the Jeep tomorrow you'd rather attach it to the side of that table and get another grill for the....(what was it that needed a grill again????, oh!) the JL!

If you decide to pull the trigger just take your time. Clean the surface and use a trim tool to work the peice down as far as possible to hide the paint. Then use a hairdryer and some pressure at the end to set the adhesive. We’ll see how it holds up this winter but I am pleasantly surprised how good it came out.

I installed the 2" Mopar Lift Kit and BFG K02 33" Tires. I also installed Rubicon Express Sway Bar Disconnects.

Can you post some pics? Every pic I see someone has 35s i wan to see a JLUS with 2inch mopar lift and 33s.

I got my sliders Ace sliders installed. I took the Jeep into a local shop (All Seasons 4x4 for Denver people), and had them pull the broken bolt I ran into a couple days ago. I went ahead and had the install the sliders while they were at it. They knocked it out in no time!

After getting home, I installed the factory Aux Switches and the factory trailer harness. What a pain! It took about 7 hours total for the two kits. For anyone looking for info before buying, definitely order the tow package from the start. Setting up the Jeep with the same equipment is a chore after the fact.

I swapped out the 14" light bar on my bumper for a pair of Hella 500 Black Magic lights. The light bar didn't add much to the LED headlights, so I decided to go with the Hellas as a backup in case the LED's ever freeze over. The Hellas aren't that bright, but they will be just fine if the freeze over ever occurs. In that situation, they'd be a real blessing. They look pretty cool, too.
