I’m picking up my 2019 Rubicon from Jim Marsh tomorrow and I’m going to have them throw a set of 35’s on. What are the best A/T tire in your guys opinion?

If you're not planning on seeing any snow, the Ridge Grapplers are very nice. If there is any chance of snow, I would recommend the KO2.

I have ran both the Ridge Grappler and the AT2. Can’t go wrong with either, but I liked the RG better.

KO2s are about the lightest tires, work great in the snow and are pretty good off road, especially where there are lots of rock, but for mud, meh.
if i were to buy an at, i would probably look into duratrac, since they're all the rave. i've seen them do well in all conditions.
then there's the trail digger that are kind of a mix between an at and mt, more of an mt but with lots of siping. they are killer in everything. i may just be going with them myself.

I took 315 KO2's to Moab and they were outstanding on the rocks, trail, in the sand, and in the mud. They were also excellent for the 44 hours of highway driving. They exceeded my expectations, which were pretty high to begin with.

What size tires can you get away with on the stock rims?

The 315 or 35x12.5 is as big as I'd go, but there are folks on the forum here with 37's on stock rims and they like them.

My recommendation is to stick with 35" C rated KO2’s. Smooth quiet, wear well, good in snow. I was not a fan of Duratracs on my JK. KM mud tires were better, but for the JL the KO2 is a solid choice.

I love our K02’s. Ours are E rated and they ride great!

I'm a fan of the Cooper A/T Maxx AT's.

They are about as aggressive as you can get without the highway humm of mud terrains.

And just so you know - KO2's aren't true to size. You can assume they are about an inch shorter in diameter than stated.

Duratracs tend to run that way, too, as do some others.

I have used Nittos Terra Grapplers and Ridge Grapplers on my 2500HD and now I'm going back to the KO2's. IMHO the KO2's are the quietest tire that I have come across and they were perfectly when you watch the tire pressure.
