Phew...all caught up! :whew::)

Today started with a 2 hour drive up north in the wee hours of the morning (it's WINDY in the Hudson Valley today! :tumbleweed::tumbleweed::tumbleweed: ) for an on-site safety meeting about next week's entry into the 100 year old water tunnel. Also learned that the schedule has changed, so I will be up there Sunday night instead of Monday night.

Was also told to upgrade my rental vehicle since I need to shuttle 5 adults with all their inspection & entry gear...

Anyone here ever drive a Suburban? :devil::devil::devil:
Didn't drive one, but was a passenger in a "superburban" that night I went to a concert and ended up partying (along with my friends) with Stompin Tom in his hotel room...

That was a while ago... ;)

Yes, I have ;) Also, supposedly you are getting winds 40+ this weekend
Yep, our first nor'easter of the season.

Going to be fun trying to steer that battleship through the streets of Queens. :lipssealed::devil::punch:

So while I wade through the back log of pages, I thought I would share:

Eve went and got herself a growth spurt

Those side steps are especially handy now, and I’m 6’2”

End result: Eve is now 2” taller than a Rubicon. Previously 1.5” shorter. My new (non engineer) assessment being that thereason it’s a 2” Mopar lift kit is that it adds 2” to Rubicons. Which means 3.5” to sport models.
The driveway sure looks familiar! :)

Oh, I know I can handle it.... I'd just prefer not to. And that wouldn't change if I was driving an automatic!!!

I just get incredibly inpatient when travelling 5km/hr on a highway built for 120....
Yeah, I'd be annoyed with all those metric signs trying to convert them in my head too...

Oh wait...that's not what you meant!
