Yep, learned my lesson. Horseshoe may have been close, but since that only counts in that and hand grenades, I should have been thinking about what I last ate.

I’m up to speed now. But slowing rapidly.... LONG WEEK. And Gamora and I have a good 4 hrs of commuting in front of us tomorrow. Back into the city we go... Think of me as I deal with Toronto’s rush hour(s)
Yuck. No fun.

Btw: We also bought a replacement cord today.

I just cant deal with that many levers and buttons to push while I am climbing a difficult obstacle on a trail. And my left knee sucks >.>
It's not all that bad...4LO makes launching a breeze. :involve:

If **I** can drive Gabrielle through NYC gridlock, you can handle Toronto traffic. You got this. Just think of what you're driving, not where you're driving it. :);):like:

I put the lockers on, slapped it in 4Lo and crawled up a loose 25 degree incline with a light touch of the throttle. People at the top of the hill waiting for me to pass were jaw dropped. I LOVE the JL...
If I have the traction, she'll crawl up that same incline in 4LO and 1st with no gas. Just idles up the hill. :rock::involve::muscle:

Phew...all caught up! :whew::)

Today started with a 2 hour drive up north in the wee hours of the morning (it's WINDY in the Hudson Valley today! :tumbleweed::tumbleweed::tumbleweed: ) for an on-site safety meeting about next week's entry into the 100 year old water tunnel. Also learned that the schedule has changed, so I will be up there Sunday night instead of Monday night.

Was also told to upgrade my rental vehicle since I need to shuttle 5 adults with all their inspection & entry gear...

Anyone here ever drive a Suburban? :devil::devil::devil:

There was a 2WD quad stuck at the top. The operator was trying to back up but it was just spinning. After watching this for a few minuets I finally told them to stop and proceeded to climb up and to the left so they could just drive down and out of the way. I was still on the incline once they passed and just continued up with no loss of traction. The other Jeeps at the top waiting for me to clear seemed a little offended, a little impressed, and were good natured about it and made a joke that I was "In the way" lol

Oh, I know I can handle it.... I'd just prefer not to. And that wouldn't change if I was driving an automatic!!!

I just get incredibly inpatient when travelling 5km/hr on a highway built for 120....
