Looked at a Rubi and test drove the sport today in Fairfax VA. Obvious the sport isn't an option, but did want to get behind the wheel.

when a dealership uses the term "whip" im not sure I can deal with that LOL :like:
LOL. True. Add in he states the full time 4wd is standard on all wranglers and this one has 35 inch tires, this sadly supports the claim most salespeople are ill-informed, at best.

The whole time I thinking, I hope this is this kids first week on the job, sadly even if it is the dealership shouldn’t let that video be posted in their name IMO.

Hadn’t seen that video though. Although bad it still had some good stuff in it. Definitely want them to hurry up so we can get ours!

As rough as it is, I saw some notable details in this video:
1) the Rubicon-specific boot-up screen on the instrument cluster (I've only seen the Sahara version previously)
2) the textured interior surface of the hardtop
3) the texture or pattern molded into the interior surfaces of the center console
4) the brownish appearance of Granite Crystal Metallic in contrast to New York snow, ice, and salt.
5) the video is surprisingly stable as the cameraman runs after the Jeep, on an icy lot (an impressive feat!)

Anybody else?

I’ve been to that dealership 1x the morning of the reveal, and 1x prior over the summer. Both times they didn’t even know a new model was coming out.

I hope that guy had the smallest hands in the world because that key fob looked like it was the size of Zack Morris' Motorola phone.
Ha.Ha. I had to google that one.

Those key fobs are HUGE.

Are they the same size across all trims regardless of features? If I get a Sport with manual locks, is the key fob still that big?

The key fob is huge... How much more refined it was driving on the road was my biggest takeaway. The telescoping wheel is such a simple addition but makes a world of difference. The rubi I looked at was lacking a few options that I wanted for 52k but the dealership seem motivated to move it and knew of the K***s deal. They did mention they have many more en route and to meet the deal of K***s you simply need to make a downpayment before it arrives on lot. I will be doing so in the next few days.
