Disclaimer: I know heavy duty work trucks (and the Power Wagon) still have these... but pretty much every other 4x4 has a switch or a button or a knob instead of an actual transfer case shifter.

My blazer was always a bit tough getting into 4x...then again I have the MT transmission stick too, so the extra doesn't bother me...maybe it's like those sportscars with the covered flip switch for top speed??? One extra step to make it fun.

They are great colon cleansers...but what you really want is to bring these into work in the fancy brief case they call a crave case. I mean, it's a CASE of hamburgers!

While the Knob/Buttons on the Cherokee and Rebel make it pretty easy to get into and out of 4HI/LO and 2HI, I think the actual lever makes a nice satisfying clunk when going into 4HI on the Wrangler

You know...it is funny...after my LONG ass wait from the time I ordered my Roxy until she arrived at the dealership...you would think I would have learned a little about patience...well...file that under a KNOPE!!!! On Monday I ordered these beauties for Roxy. I haven't heard a word since ordering them...yes...it has only been 2 days...but still... The site says 2-3 weeks...I wonder if that is real time or Jeep time. LOL

You are NOT gonna like to hear this then Joe. I ordered mine on 8/23. Still have not shipped. Apparently they not only MOVED their whole operation during all this time, but they also decided to remanufacture their welding jig. Supposedly the first batch is scheduled to ship this week.
