Hahahaha!!!Um, the most obvious, they have a hot prime minister:cwl:

My intent was to order, and I think if my truck had been running fine I would have ordered. In retrospect, I would have waited for a long time, as I had the 2.0 and the tan soft top on my order (Until my wife insisted on the hard top) and that would have taken longer than the loan approval would have been good for. I do think I have a better Idea of what my next Jeep will be like though.Almost every other vehicle I’ve purchased I did the same way, Sean. In fact, I did not know you could still custom order a vehicle until the salesman told me so.
Ah, I miss having every holiday off.Good morning all!... Today's my monday... but with all the Taco meme's already flying through here... throw me some hot sauce and beers... 4 days till the next jeepend!
Oh no, Shingles is no joke.Mornin Jeep Peeps! I'm waiting to hear from the home care service on whether or not they have located a temporary replacement for today. Seems our regular care giver has come down with shingles. UGH!
Not something I ever want. Now I've been told there is yet a newer vaccination for it. I've already had the original. Gotta ask my Doc if I should get the new one.Oh no, Shingles is no joke.
The vaccine is a kick in the butt, but its better than getting shingles. My parents got the shot and were out of commission the next day, but one of the other elders at the church (who looks 45 instead of 60) had Shingles recently and he's still feeling the after effects. Not something I ever want. My dad must have gotten a really mild case of it cuz he had it and was telling me he didn't understand what all the hubbub was about. The vaccine is a kick in the butt, but its better than getting shingles. I'm pretty sure even a mild case would still suck, but everyone reacts in a different way.My dad must have gotten a really mild case of it cuz he had it and was telling me he didn't understand what all the hubbub was about.
Edit: WOW! he would have been 100 this year! He's been gone 4 years now. :-(
Good idea... @CrazyKASG?Invite Jeeple and husband over for a delicious Eye-talian dinner![]()
Allow me to retell his story that he always told us about her sinking during the Battle of the Coral Sea. I'll have to be honest that I'm not sure just how much of this is "sailor lore" and how much really happened.I'm pretty sure even a mild case would still suck, but everyone reacts in a different way.
He lived a long life all right, I know I would have enjoyed having a chat with him about his time on the Lexington, one of my favorite historical ships.
That is pretty funny. I'm on the Wikipedia page of the Lexington now. It took an hour and a half to execute abandon ship, and she was on an even keel when she finally sank close to an hour and a half after the Captain stepped off the deck.Allow me to retell his story that he always told us about her sinking during the Battle of the Coral Sea. So Lady Lex is sinking and the crew is ordered to abandon ship. There are other ships in the fleet near by to assist in recovering the sailors. According to dad, she was not in too bad of shape considering all the strikes she sustained, so he and who knows who else decided that they could go down to the mess hall and snag some ice cream while they waited to leave the ship. Mind you she's on fire and all that kinda good stuff. So, they get the ice cream and then station themselves on the flight deck and just sit there eating ice cream watching all kinds of crazy fools jumping into the ocean. Dad was determined to NOT get wet even tho he did know how to swim. Eventually some smaller ships come along side and there are cargo nets hanging down the side. Dad finally goes down the net and steps onto the deck of the rescue ship. Dry as can be.
Like I said, I have no reason to believe my dad was lying, but it is quite the tale. He never started telling this with the words "now this is no shit", cuz that is a true giveaway that the story you are about to hear is BS. So I have to assume truth.![]()
