I ain't buyin it. Show the sticker. Reps are going all over the place with pre-production JL's to show them off. Dealers are taking pics and acting like they have them. Again, I hope they do, but I'll be skeptical until we see a window sticker.

Edit...They show a VIN, but is it that JLUS shown? That's a step closer, but I still want to see the window sticker.
They actually show a real sticker, click "View Window Sticker" on the upper right corner of their site.

I'd say we might be as close to confirming, as possible. We've got only 12 miles and a window sticker. I guess all that's missing is something on there to show it was meant for that dealership or a customer. I'd say we're 90% there, but still not quite enough for a confirmation. Anybody want to call them to see if it can actually be bought and one can take delivery?

I believe that once we see a confirmed production unit delivered for sale, we'll see the flood gates start to open and some of our forum brothers/sisters will start getting their hands on Jeeps!

I talked to sales I confirmed it is on the lot and for sale. I told them I was 170 mile out and it I drove to look at it and it was only a demo I would not be happy. They confirmed it was for sale today.

So much for the theory that customer orders are built before dealer orders.

Yes that's a theory...only and would never happen. They send out the unsold pre-specs first. That way dealers and techs can get prepared to sell and service them. That also allows them an additional opportunity to catch any "problems that they didnt catch .

Jeep.com click on the wrangler JL then click on the "Vehicles & Dealers near you" button, type in your zip code and it should tell you what vehicles are coming to that zip code.
I wonder if this will show customer orders as well, or do you think only dealer inventory? Could give some of us info that our dealer is getting our sold order in.

is it still possible to negotiate off invoice when buying off a lot vs ordering? like how you would negotiate 1-5% off invoice when preordering.

I would consider....1% However there is no scenario where I am taking orders for 5% under invoice..... On a 40k wrangler thats 2k under invoice which is like a 1k looser...... no deal...sorry will have to pass on that...lol

My hometown dealer passed on 5% below invoicing and was more like 2-2 1/2% under. But since multiple other dealers have quoted 5% under, my business will end up with one of them. One local(ish) dealer (1 hr or so drive) quoted me a Jeep that is right at 4% under with $499 doc fees. The people in Dayton (6 hr drive) quoted 5% under with a $250 doc fee. The difference in $$ end up being right about $700. A one way ticket to Dayton will cost me $250 (or really 15k frequent flier miles). It's worth the trip to me.

Wait... A plain old Sport out in the wild?!? FCA is slipping up. Thought they were keeping those under wraps until sometime in the future. (on a side note: starting to re-think my firecracker red decision... but too late to change my order.)

I actually found a dealer 80 miles out from me that has the exact same build that i would order, I'm just hoping I could get something under invoice and not lose any leverage being that I'm buying out of lot rather than ordering.
