What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Kids were tearing up the tan cloth seats on my wife's Sport, so i decided to pick up a set of @Rough Country Suspensions neoprene seat covers. I only had time to install the one before work, but im really impressed for the price

I hate when I see something cool like that then find out no 2 door version. grrr

Got my new Fuel Zephyr beadlocks today. I've been trying to figure out all day if I should powdercoat the rings black or leave them as is
The Candy Red looks gorgeous as is, but touching it up with trail rash will be nearly impossible!

I couldn't come to a decision about whether I wanted to powdercoat the rings black or leave them red, so I decided I will just leave them red until I mess them up too bad then have them powdercoated. I think touching up the red from trail rash will be nearly impossible.

I finished dismounting the two rear tires & spare from my old beadlocks, and installed the tires on the two rears. I've decided to stop and take an overnight break.

These are the first beadlocks I've purchased that didn't have the steel thread inserts pre-installed(At least they were tapped).

The biggest pain has been dismounting the tires from the old beadlocks!

one thing for sure when it’s all said and done. No one should have the same rims as you. No one buddy. Good job and beautiful rims!

 

[Jo's Jeep]

Well, it's official. Jo's Jeep, the "Tarmac Tarantula" is off to finishing school. I didn't want to post until it was a done deal and all parties were a go.

Last week I took my wife's jeep in to get the Wet Okole seat covers installed and was asked to use our jeep for their SEMA booth this year. After clearing it with the Jeep's owner who wanted assurances that her blue jeep remains blue and that she could get into and out of the jeep without breaking a hip, we had a deal. Today was drop off day and here is the last picture of Tarmac Tarantula in it's current form.

Vendors onboard so far include WeatherTech, Viair, Quadratec, Hi-Lift, and Coker. I'd like to thank Tracy and Wet Okole for this awesome opportunity and look forward to seeing Jo's Jeep on display at the Las Vegas Convention Center north hall #12731 from October 30 - November 2 for SEMA 2018.

All in about $1750. I used the Warn winch plate, a Zeon 10-S, and a Factor 55 Flatlink-E with rope guard.
