The term racialized encompasses not the colour of a person’s skin, but their lived experience as other than the majority.

I don’t believe in identity politics, however, I believe it is necessary to recognize that I have some serious listening to do if I’m going to understand what it feels like to lives as a black man in the south. Just like my male friends need to listen to understand the feeling of walking down an urban street at night as a woman. If we aren’t willing to listen and try to understand that experience, then we aren’t saying that colour doesn’t matter. We are saying that the status quo is good enough. And for many people, it still isn’t.

OK boys and girls, I present to you the homemade, out of oak, Obwahn Mark I iPhone holder for Jeepin!!! Nuttin fancy but I had to counter slant it so that it doesn't face straight down the hood since that little cubby is slanted downhill towards the front. Would much prefer a GoPro, but that is a ways away still. And I gots Jeeples arriving SOON.

I used to have a wooden block like that in my old Jeep to hold my Sirius receiver...Nice work! Maybe give it a shakedown this week? Take some corners, short stops, etc.
