FWIW, it’s not necessarily the gluten that people are allergic to, but rather are having a reaction to the chemicals sprayed on the plants. Unless you purchase organic, non-gmo, you are ingesting the chemicals.

That is true, but some people are in a panic over the mere existence of gluten when they don't need to be. I know one person that actually has a legitimate gluten intolerance, so he gets a pass.
