I ordered mine Saturday and it's on it's way to me. Super excited!! I did the cherry mod to my bald head too many times. I do have a question, I noticed a large gap in front of the shade and where it mounts to the windshield on some and no gap on others, how do you adjust the gap out?

The one's you see with a larger gap, have each of the 4 side bunchies to much to the rear of the JLU. Just keep the side bunchies more forward by an inch of so, then those in the pic you posted.

In that picture that you posted, the corner bungees are actually incorrectly installed. They shouldn't go around the sound bar / roll bar in the center of the vehicle.
It's tough to tell, but the bungee lengths could also be wrong. What I mean is that the 2 center grommets should use the longest bungees included and the 2 corner bungees should be the medium length bungees.
Only the 2 rear center bungees should go around the sound bar.
The rear corner bungees actually get fed diagonally through a gap. Instead of trying to explain the positioning, have a look at the video (it should start at the right time where I show the rear corner bungee placement): and have a look at the attachment which has green circles of where the bungee should be fed along with the green lines showing the bungee "path." I also added red x's over where the bungees are incorrectly placed.
By making that change, there will be a little less tension pulling the shade directly back which will actually allow the shade to shift forward slightly.
And like @Rhinebeck01 mentioned, you can slide the 4 side bungees forward as a means of fine tuning where the shade sits.

Warning! Alien's website has a problem. I ordered Blue shade, with wife checking me carefully, and site accepted order as green. Received green instead. Contacted customer service snd they want me to pay for return, and wait until they receive it before they ship ghe blue one. Not happy with that response. Hoping y'all see this message and agree to get me the proper one out right away..I will send green back in perfect unopened condition if you prepay. Please do me right! I zm anxious to rock the blue on my Sti g Gray asap! And have a tekkie check your website!

We have no problem getting this exchanged for you. In all honestly, I've never seen this issue occur where someone orders x and receives y. That's definitely odd.

What is the inside suppose to look like with the tops on? I am concerned my clamps above the visors are pinching the fabric.

See my attached pics. The clamps don't pinch the shade at all when everything is in place.
When you want to remove or reattach your top, the latch comes down so you need to pull the shade back and down to allow the handle of the clamp to clear the shade. From the pics, you can see the shade needs to be shifted about 1" to provide the necessary clearance.
Hopefully that clears things up!

It does. I did not move the shade out of the way when I closed the clamps so it was pinching the fabric.
