What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Found these black decals that go over the face of the Jeep logo. It’s such a subtle addition but I really like it. Gives it a really clean look. Way worth the $8.

Also chopped the euro fenders. Long overdue on making that happen.

Got ambitious this first weeekend with the Jeep. Found a pair of kayak hoists at Menards that work fine enough for a hard top hoist. Had these up in a just over an hour. Then with the help of YouTube got my Jeep mostly naked and drove around town with the kids.

On my challenger I just went to a muffler shop and had them delete the rear mufflers. Love the sound.

Which winch and mounting plate do you have? I’ve seen reviews that the Mopar hoop doesn’t clear some Warn winches, and I don’t want to make a +$200 mistake or have to deal with return shipping.

Warn VR10-S Gen II. There was a list somewhere of compatible winches but forget where. And used Warn’s own mounting plate for JL steel bumper

My tattoo artists appreciate that I am a paper white canvas, but I do have pre-tanned envy. I have to color my skin a few needles at a time

I actually specifically bought the 2 part Alienshade so I could just put on the front for now. I knew it would take ages for me to remove the top.

XKGlow 7" ring kit. I think it was $175. They don't fit like they're supposed to - it's for the JK only despite some advertisers saying "fits JL" -- but it's not even close. The JL headlight is much larger, maybe actually 8" diameter. I dremeled off the plastic mounting tabs, so it could sit flush, and it fits PERFECTLY inside the headlight cutouts in the grill, so I drilled tiny holes in the bezel and the grill surround, and used zip ties to lock it in place. Works awesome and you basically can't see the zip ties either.
