The big signs that they keep putting in the middle of the hills and the ranger that was ticketing people about 8 months ago when I was there.
It was fenced off back in 2019 but people
Went and cut the wire fence out like three months later they put it back up and then gave up wasting money on the fencing

Ah maybe those are new. I don't remember ever seeing signs there but the last time I was at Cleghorn was a little over 8 months ago. I guess they are worried about people driving into the tower.

It’s the area around the tower is owned by Edison. And you can be shocked by the tower if you where to touch it if an insulator fails. It’s a safety thing

Have they packed in the dirt on the obstacles? That and a fence would probably help. A bit of a bummer since that's a fun spot but makes sense.

Ah just saw your edit about fences. Well there are plenty of other fun spots on Cleghorn. I never did get to run it east to west. I had that on my bucket list.

I agree. I’ve wanted to climb the east side of that section so bad. This the rest of the off shoots are a blast

Ive been going there since 2018 when i bought my jeep. Never once seen any signs there. But good to know.

I’m still interested. I’m looking into the front left spring that I found out of line with the seats. Getting ready to jack it up and take a look and if I can get it set right I’ll try and join in.

Tomorrow’s Saturday.
the run is on Sunday the 5th

I checked my spring. It looks okay. I do have a leaky bumpstop but I don’t think that’ll be a problem on this trail. At this point I expect to be there and I’m getting my gear together and loaded up today.
