What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

I bought it from the classifieds section here. I installed it myself, there is a great video on YouTube. It took 10 minutes. The 7 was around 260 shipped.

Where did you get the radio and how much did it cost to purchase and install?

I have the 7 but thought of getting the 8.4 but it seems there have been alot of problems posted about them.

It was 260 ish from the classifieds on here. 10 minutes. Followed a great YouTube video. I use Android auto, buy it supports both.

Yes how much did this cost you and was it difficult to install? I assume you have Apple Car play now with the 7”?

Well, changed my setup to 315/70/17 ko2 with warlords from 35x12.5r18 and armory wheels. Essentially did the switch just because of the change of load range, i went from E to C. The ride quality is so much better, i feel the truck way lighter, better handling and softer suspension. Im equipped with RC 2.5 inch budget lift. I think im close to 90% of the stock feel. The only downfall is that lost half inch in tire size comparing 35 versus 34.4 and 12.5 vs 12.4 wide and it makes it look a tad less aggresive but well worth the change.

Ceramic coating. It shines like a mirror and really brought out the color.

Did you purchase the Ceramic coating? Or have it done somewhere? Looks Great!

painted the exhaust. Must...get...rid...of ...shiny things... and I know...it's too clean. Be patient...it'll get dirty.

Well ive done a few things so far. Bought a used rhino rack pioneer for peanuts. Got lucky! 200 bucks isn’t coming like that again 77 inch by 54. Installed with Maximus 3 brackets connected to Roll Bar. Looks awesome! I’m a fisherman and always on the beach. Waiting for accessories to come in now and install rack a rod on top. Also Thule cargo box cause I don’t like to fill Jeep in back up and then it looks like my hamper. Arb drawers soon going on. Today looking at installing my Aries running boards. Check them out online there awesome. Wife can get in easily. See some pics of my upgrades I’ve done. Front bumper warn elite series. Warn VR wench. Red shackles with black rubber protectors. Rear bumper with tire holder. Winston. Also red shackles with black rubber protectors. Front and rear hitch mounts. Rhino rack pioneer platform. Mopar back and front rubber mats. Hi lift. That’s getting lowered due to my bat wing awning won’t come around all the way when door is closed. Freakin mistakes! 35 inch BF Goodrich tires KM 3 series or is it 2 lol. Rough country 3 and a half inch lift. Not much to choose from so I went with them cause anything goes wrong they swap out part. Great customer service! Much on the way! Vector mounting system for phone I pad. Pro 6 KC series lights on order. The round ones 8 across. Also 2 side ones on hood. Need the freakin bar which o have to wait air 2 months to install. Freakin Mooar and Jeep raking on the monies not giving out speks on JL wrangler. Greedy bastards! JW speakers lights for for front high beams and tail lights not even started yet at company. Have to wait so I drive around with the stock Junk on for now. Greedy bastards Jeep and mopar! Hope you like photos.

Hey buddy good idea on painting the muffler. Get rid of that stock shine. What kind of spray did you use? Asking cause that baby gets hot. Is that fire retardant spray paint? I know I’ve used a special one on my wood burning stove a while back. Wondering cause I’d like to do same like you!

just some rustoleum hi heat spray paint. The kind for bbq grills and such. You can scoop it up at lowes.

One of the things that I dislike is the shiny muffler hanging in plain view on the JK and now JL. I see guys/gals mod away and still just leave that thing unpainted... geeeez...

Anyway, I have been painting the muffler and tailpipe, on my JK's since my first JK in 2007. On the JK and presently with my JL, I use just plain old Rustoleum "Flat Black" spray paint. ($3.75)

It wears well, color looks good, never burns off .... never any issues. Yes, I do respray every few months.

Also, when I was the Jeep, I always wash off that painted muffler.

When I paint the muffler and tailpipe, I just tape off, use newspaper and cardboard ...... to block off over spray to surrounding areas. I do say 3 light coats and let each coat dry for 3 or so minutes before the next coat.
