I saved probably $2-3k buying out of state. Half of that was eaten up by the trip home, fuel and hotels etc. But that was my summer vacation. So the way I look at it, buying out of state paid for my summer vacation. Also, my local dealer hasn't treated my Wrangler any different than my WK2. They've taken to dealing with the issue just as if I'd bought it from them afaict.

Awesome, that's what we all hope for with dealerships.

Seriously, that Friday spent working on Eve and Gabrielle was great. Three guys, all the tools you can think of, and two Jeeps in need of some wrenching. Reminded me of working on a weekend project with my dad. Great times.

The Jeeping the following day was almost just icing on the cake really.

It was a totally awesome weekend! The BS sessions late at night weren't so bad either. I'm so proud that we managed to create World Peace.

I bought my own GT mountain bike when I was a young teenager, saved up a year of my allowance it was $275, that was a lot in the 90s. Best bike I ever had, couldn't break it!
