Found a good deal on a set of used Trail Gear Creeper Locks. My plan was to have them re-finished until the set of Beadlocks I really want come off backorder. After my wonderful wife @TankGirl helped me mount them and mocked them up to her Jeep she claimed them for herself and asked me not to change the color combination(Matches her Darth Maul theme)

Well, here they are halfway installed on my Jeep and mocked up to hers....

Looks like you went with the textured instead of the gloss too, good choice. I think they’ll look nicer longer. Your black Rubi looks amazing!
Thanks! Yeah, I thought texture looked almost like they were factory...or belonged on there. They do a nice job covering up the pinch weld too! Love your Red!!

Thanks so much! I got the idea from another member, I think he was the first to get it. My Jeep is black and I added the Xpel Stealth wrap. It gives it the dark grey matte finish, which I personally love.
The key is to find a superb installer - this is not an easy thing to do. My guy took his time, which was almost 2 weeks, and taking apart most of the Jeep to wrap it correctly.
Including the full Jeep wrap and Xpel tint on the front windows, it came out to about $6k. I used Eurotech Motorsports in NJ. Danek is one of the owners and he’s an awesome guy.
:like: Well I'd say it's well worth the money. Love this look!

Installed front camera using Tazer. Bottle is right in front so I can have a good look at anything going under the Jeep.

So, the Tazer is able to add the view where you normally view the back-up camera? That’s awesome! Which front camera did you use?

OK, silly question time...

I was trying to paint my calipers this weekend and I ran into some trouble getting the jeep on jack stands. I see photos all over the forum with the jack stands on all four corners under the axel tubes.

My issue, when I jack the tube up, I have no room to place the jack stand when jacking as per the manual instructions. this is especially true on the passenger front where the steering stabilizer is.

My question is, are you jacking under the pumpkins to place the jack stands? Not really sure I want to do that...

I'm using my three way jack which is a 4,000lb car/motorcycle/ATV jack (frame lift).

This will be a first: I all but guarantee it.

I have a roof top cargo basket. It was used to drop off my kid's stuff at college.

Getting the heavy bag down inside it wasn't hard: my "friend" gravity helped.

But getting it back on, fully loaded come time to take them home for the summer might not be as easy.

So I put a pully on the cargo basket, located in its middle (front to back) on the driver's side.

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-1-1-2-in-Zinc-Plated-Wall-Ceiling-Mount-Pulley-43364/205883050

That pulley has a cotter pin to disassemble it. That will approve important.

On the rear hitch I stripped down a hitch mounted deer hoist to its winch and pulley. Come time to lift that bag on the roof I pull out the steel cable from the deer hoist winch, wrap its cable and permanently attached hook around the pulley on the cargo basket, having disassembled that pulley first (the hook won't fit around otherwise) and now I can pull things up to the top of the rig from the midline passengers side via a 1/2" 3' X 8' piece of plywood with plastic laminate on it for smoothness.

I'll travel with the plywood securely on the roof rack when needed.

FWIW, I used a 2.25 ton floor jack and jacked the back end up via the diff. Stuck the stands on each end and lowered her down. In the front I used the front diff to raise the driver's side and stuck the stand under and lowered it. On the pax side there is a steel plate far enough away from the wheel to let you jack it up and still have room to slide the jack stand in. I did my jeep that way and we just did a friend's jeep that way.

I used this:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003EP52I8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It doesn't go all the way under...Just to the edge of where the "L" shape is on the mopar ones. The 3m tape is only on the bottom of the sill guards. I just cut it to length and then cut the little curve out to fit a little cleaner. I pulled back the plastic on the inside of the Jeep back a little and tucked it under the top of the door sill also.
Thanks for sharing and replying. Will do the same with mine,

I believe it's in addition to the backup. It would be the cargo camera. But obviously, being used in the front instead(much more functional).
Yes, in addition. Just scroll back and forth between front and rear.
