Need replace Output Shaft/D clutch

My 2020 Jeep Rubicon automatic needs Output shaft and D clutch replaced. I have 62,000 miles. No extended warranty. Per the dealer and diagnostics codes that’s what I need . Isn’t this the beginning of transmission problem? Couldn’t this have cause transmission problem? I will repair but then I’m thinking I will sadly sell because I don’t want to replace transmission also. Please advise. Thank you

I would just find a replacement unit and swap it out. 1 day job and you’ll be back to normal.
