So I went to pick up my 2018 JLU Rubicon today at the dealership that I ordered and it was damaged in transport. What’s the thoughts on repair or order a new one?

I guess if you can handle the wait, then order it again. Or, have it fixed and if you don't like the results, then order again. Some of it depends on what the dealer is willing to do.

It isn't up to the dealer. Its a trasnportation claim. The dealer just makes the claim. But...it looks like an easy fix with just, as Blammmo said above, a replacement window frame.

If they can't order you an 18 replacement, then get a 19. They should be able to tell you straight up what they can do.

I asked that today and he said he’s not sure they could replace that. This is my first Jeep. So I’m a little unsure as to how things can be removed

That whole windshield can be removed just like the doors. So that person is kinda full of it.

Have it replaced. This is a new vehicle and you should drive it off the lot as such.
I would definitely order a new one unless they’re going to discount the vehicle due to paint work being done on it. Then I’d base my decision on the significance of the discount.

My brother once bought a new sports car that had a bad door ding from lot damage. They gave him a substantial discount on it in addition to having it repaired. Nobody would have ever known it was there- I couldn’t see it and I knew exactly where to look. Also, the dealership body shop did it so there was never any record of it on carfax. The only thing was the dealer insisted on selling it as a demo even though it only had delivery miles on it. Not a big deal.

They gave me a pretty good deal on it a little below invoice..that would be great if they did discount it... not sure how much more they would take off though

They HAVE to discount it. Even if you pass on it I’m pretty sure the law requires that the dealer disclose the paintwork to any new car buyer, who would obviously insist on an additional discount. The dealer could also just sell it as used. I can remember seeing a new Porsche that had documented paintwork from transit damage. The paperwork on the defect was from Porsche Cars NA, not the dealer.
