This has nothing to do with your post but I just wanted to say that my old YJ's name was Waylon.Ordered my new Roam steps this week, and installed the new Mopar slush mats, put on the new Smittybilt hitch today along with my sill guards, and now just waiting on the wiring for the hitch to show up. Trying to decide what's next on the agenda for next payday lol.

This looks really nice but what do you do for a chmsl when your top is off?I deleted the over-the-tire CHMSL and bracket in favour of a true high-mount brake light! This one will always be visible, even when I carry bikes or a cargo rack on the back! I also installed an 18 watt, 6 LED white backup light down near the receiver so I can see in the ParkView camera at night!

For those wondering, the brake light and harness that I removed will be installed on the back of the sport bar to have a third brake light when I take the top off. I have installed connectors at the back to swap between them.
I also installed my Air Lift 1000 helper springs today and ran the tubes out beside the license plate.
The more I see Firecracker Red, the more I like it. How do you like those Pro Comp wheels? Do you have any close up pictures of them? They are one of my finalists for new wheels.Pulled the hard top off.

Nice. How do you pull out the factory wire track? Mine won’t come out so I’m doing something wrong.![]()
Installed the Done Right Led Rear Light on the rear window. Wired it to the dome lights. Ran the wire in the factory wiring track on the window. The remote is great. Adds a lot!![]()
Any more details on the light used and the install? I've been wanting to move my third break light to have more visibility out the rear and like how this looks OEM.I deleted the over-the-tire CHMSL and bracket in favour of a true high-mount brake light! If you read the text below the photo, you'd read that I plan to use the light from above the tire and mount it to the sport bar. I've already done the wiring with a connector to switch between them. And while I was at it, I ran an additional 12V from the rear accessory port so I can hard wire a small fridge or something else... I'll post the mounted light when I get it done. This looks really nice but what do you do for a chmsl when your top is off?
I bought this cheap thing from Amazon: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B013SLZDDQ/Any more details on the light used and the install? I've been wanting to move my third break light to have more visibility out the rear and like how this looks OEM.
