Made it down here with no issues driving mostly 1 handed. Even got decent mileage on the interstate. Doing 70, got me 20mpg...until I hit a traffic jam.

Roxy's gear were in great shape. The oil could have been used quite a while longer. All put back together with new oil and sent on my way.
This is good to hear.

I'm at almost 600 miles and not sure when Trail Jeeps will have time in their schedule to swap oil and inspect.

I have spent a few cycles in 4wd to get heat into the front differential. Keeping it in 4Hi and mostly a straight line under 50mph. Trying to get heat into them to. 🤷‍♂️

I've been told the main reason for a quick (1000 mile) change is to check for metal particles that might indicate inaccurate alignment, requiring the gears to be checked and shimmed again if necessary.
