Good morning JC here. Bought my first Jeep last month. 2020 UL Sport S. I am new to the world of off-road in 4 wheels. I expect to learn, modify and grow slowly in the sport. Looking forward to have some family adventures with my wife and kiddo.

Bought a new JL 6 speed yesterday, 2025 just tinted rear soft top and floor liners. So far so good. I had a 2010 JK for a bit and really wanted the 25.

Morning all, coming over from the TJ/JK side as I am looking to order a 25 Willys 2 door manual JL today to replace my 2009 JK. Been a great Jeep outside of the usual and a little hesitant to move on from it but with 142k on the 3.8, not sure what the future holds and my Jeep has become my preferred daily driver. Look forward to gaining some insight through the forum.

welcome!. just keep an eye on what you do for gears and tires with the 6speed. the newer software has made it a pain in the *** to up size and if you do not tell the software you have upsized tires then it will limp mod the jeep... most dealers wont tell you that then try and charge you so resetting the limp mode and tire size... ( Ive had my 6sp since jan 2019) great setup just wish they would stop Fn with the software and ruining the manual

You will love it! I came from a 2010 green JK! The 25 has the nice big infotainment as standard and the rest of the rig is a nice improvement. The JK seats might have been softer though.

Thanks, looking to order the 25 Willys 2 door Manual and I don't see any option to change gearing from the standard 4.10. I'm running 4.88 with my current JK and 35's and I could have gotten away with 4.56 as my tires are around 34" actual. Would like to go with 4.56 and could go to the xtreme 35 package but no manual offered so I'll lift and add wheels tires etc on my own. Good info regarding limp mode and assuming there is a tuner out there that works with the new Jeeps like I've used on my JK?

The Rubicon gives you the option but Willy's (at least online) only offers 4.10 as std and 4.56 if you order the xtreme 35 package. Appreciate the info.
