Hi all,

I ordered the first week of February, and my VIN was assigned a couple days later. However, there is still no scheduled build date. A what point should I get concerned and bug my dealer? Thanks!

I went unscheduled for 2 months. But that was coming off the strike. Most builds I see lately have been going much faster.

I think the backlog is finally over and new orders are being built pretty quick.

I ordered on 10/16/23 and moved to D1 2/22/24. I was mid-strike, but as I have come to realize you never really know why some get built before the others. I would say no need to get concerned, it’ll get built, just a question of when. But I would add bug the dealer whenever you want. And that’s not just me, JeepCares will tell you the same thing. ?

Unless you have a deadline, it doesn't help to bother the dealer until near shipping time to get a better ETA or if you just want to keep things social. There's nothing the dealer can do to expedite the order or see why it's delayed.

Jeep cares is even worse. If you complain enough they'll just send you a form letter every few weeks telling you nothing has changed.

Pre-strike I had done a lot of reading on production times and had expected 3-4 weeks to get scheduled, another 3-4 to enter production, and lastly a 1- 1.5 weeks for delivery. Things seems be stabilizing towards that pattern again. There are unicorns that are scheduled and in production within days, but that's not the norm.

4.88s seemed to slow builds down, at least coming right out of the strike.

In any case, I'd reckon there's nothing to worry about on an early Feb order for another 2 weeks.

I've been in shipping status for a week and 2 days with estimated delivery still TBD, never more anxious than I am now. About to go clean up my Challenger for possible trade-in (sure am gonna miss that beast) and see if I can spy a little bright yellow Jeep on a drive by my dealership. I kinda doubt it, but what the heck, it's only a few minutes out of my way.

Has your tracker updated? KZLD means long delay which worries me that I might be right there with you. Fingers crossed this isn’t the case.

Last update was for 2/27 built on the tracker. Dealership was guessing 1-2 weeks but didn’t know.

There’s no telling what’s going on in that Toledo plant right now. I just know I’d like to be able to take advantage of the March incentives.

Made it to shipped status. Delivery is estimated at 04/10 which would be just over a month in transit (located in NC).

Give it time...some of us waited an extremely long time (Mine was for 7/26 scheduled to 1/09 build day to 1/23 built). I am seeing a lot that are within a month or less now.
