2024 Rubicon X Display Auto On with Vehicle Start

The display is not automatically turning on in our 2024 when I start the vehicle, and I'm not finding a setting to adjust anywhere after poring through hardcopy and digital manuals and searching online. The display on my 2018 turns on automatically with vehicle ignition, and I'd love to enable the same in our new Wrangler. Can anyone help, please? Note: This is NOT the same as the auto-adjust setting for display brightness or light/dark mode. Thanks for your help!

There is a setting in the settings area... it gives you the choice of automatically turning on or not turning on.

Thank you, TrentYoung. I went to Settings > Display > Display Mode > Auto, and it still does not turn on automatically when I start the vehicle. Is there something elsewhere in Settings I'm missing?

I've only had the vehicle maybe a month. It came on automatically the first couple of starts, but not since then.

I wonder if it's one-and-the-same as the 'Music Auto On' setting? I was thrilled that I could set that to Off, but maybe that setting is also keeping the display from turning on automatically...?

Hey , I am facing the same issue , it used to turn on with car start , now it doesnt.

I have toggled all the settings and not being able to bring the screen on.

Where you able to figure it out , much appreciated

Hi there! Yes, the display auto on feature setting seems to be the same as the radio auto on feature setting. I didn't want the radio to be on every time at start-up. So when I turned that off, it caused my display to be off at start-up as well.

My "fix" was to turn back on the radio at start-up setting, but to put the radio volume (in the settings screen) to zero.
