Thanks Mike...I went ahead and downloaded it. I am not overly religious about collecting this information but maybe with something like this, I can get better. I need to fill up the TJ today so I can start playing with it there.
I like to keep track in case things start to show a negative trend. It could indicate a problem.

True, but I keep the lifetime average fuel economy on my center screen up.

I looooooooooooooove long hair. So I won't say no more. Well, I will say you gotta finger it out I guess.

Edit: Locks of Love if you gotta snip it.

I should check that to see how it compares with the computed stuff. I've always been leary of the mpg stuff built into the vehicles. I'm old skewl with computed at the pump methods.

I don't bother tracking my fuel eco. I don't drive economically, too many hills around here (Duluth is built on a hill like Seattle) so basically i don't want to be reminded of my sub 15mpg average :like:
I drive a 2000 TJ with a manual and 4.0...and it isn't running all that great...I would kill for 15MPG... :cwl:

My WJ used to get about 12 (per the onboard computer too) around the city, and 16 or so on the highway. Gabrielle says she's getting 15.5 around town now, and I expect that to only improve as I start using ESS and get better at launching.

Related, filled her up for the first time yesterday! $2.99/gal :swear:

$43.09 for a full tank though...are the 2 door tanks smaller?

Is it scary that I have no idea what the price is here? I get to half tank and go to Kwik Trip and credit card a fill up, then pay the card at the end of the month >.>

Hey Sean. I don't see lifetime fuel economy as a choice anywhere on my setup screen. Just Avg or Current. My Avg right now says 4.7. bwahaaahahahahaahahahahahaha

I did the manual calculations for the first few tanks and it came out right about the same as what the computer on the Jeep was telling me, so its reasonably accurate on the JLs. My ram was usually a few tenths high so sometimes I would have to verify with a manual calculation there.

I do like to see the lifetime average (minus 9 miles) on my Jeep though. I reset at the beginning of my test drive and that was the last time the average was reset.

I think its more expensive here... I wouldn't mind having $2.99 per gallon.

Edit: I just checked and they dropped since I filled up last, $2.50 per gallon.

OK. It's an app on my phone that I use when I go to the gas station. I plug in all the relevant data and it figures the mileage out for me. No more having to remember to reset the trip meter. I just plug in the current odometer reading and it computes from the last fill up. It also uploads to the "cloud", hehe. So I can also log into my account on the "big" puter. I don't know the limit of vehicles but I have both mine in there. It also keeps track of what octane you put in. Lots of features and I'm sure there are other features I haven't explored. I got it cuz I figured it was time to upgrade from writing it all in a journal book. I think it is worth it. I don't remember now if it was free or not tho. I think it was but since I have it installed I can't see it for sure in the App Store.
As you can also see it has "badges" that you can slide into your signature space on here. Just to annoy everyone. :)
With an armored, lifted rubicon on 37’s it’s no where not good. 40-50 miles an hour it’s ok, but I average 12-15 mpg in hilly windy San Diego.
