That sucks!
560W...so...0.56 kWh/hr, at 21 cents per kWh...costs me about 12 cents per hour to run. And that's just in one room. :movember:

Gabrielle will get her mods...I could stand to loose a few pounds anyway. You can live off of ramen noodles, right? :giggle::devil:

Actually, Gabrielle is more fuel efficient than Jessie (surprising, but Jessie is a big girl with a very old 4.0L design), so I'm saving money on gas.

Wait until I tell you guys how much tolls out here are :devil::devil:

We found out within the last week the ac was on and cooling the garage. And the in floor heat was on still heating the garage. So... paying for both to compete against each other!!!. No guessing how long this has been happening...:asshat::asshat:

Ooo ouch. Hopefully it wasn't too hot lately. I would think heating is the more efficient of the two, so the AC would eventually fall behind and stay on 24/7. :headbang::headbang:

College students have probably proven this theory.
How about 30+ year olds? I know I'm not as durable in other aspects as I was then...:lipssealed:

Agreed. Only 90 F.... Portable ac vs. in slab heat. Ac is going to be the loser (especially with high temps) May electric bill just arrived. $5 less than April. So, at least it’s not horrendous.

Is your heat electric or gas? Mine is steam - I don't pay for it directly (it's in my rent somewhere), so every summer, my electricity bill doubles. :asshat:

You may want to add some veggies/fruit/real food in occasionally when possible from
Free sources. (I kinda thought you were one of the 20ish young guns... I should take the same advice... :headbang::headbang: )

Garage is mainly electric inslab boiler. Propane overhead heater for aux heat if needed. House has air source heat pump/central air/propane heat/wood fireplace/ inslab. (This is no mn. Lived in a place with a single source furnace. When it died at -20 below F... I swore I’d at least have options next time. )
