Do you drop in to every XR owner’s thread? Because Jesus Christ, if it’s not you, it’s someone. But seriously I’m was asking a question. why not just buy a Dynatrac front diff housing.
1) I’d still need to get lockers for the the front and the back.
2) I’d still have to get steel knuckles
3) I’d still have to get bigger brakes
4) And and and and
5) By the time I get the front axle outfitted and get a locker and gears in the rear, I’m out $10,000 with labor
6) I still wouldn’t have tires or wheels
7) None of that shit above would be under my 8 year 125,000 mile warranty.
8) And more and more and more
If I get a project jeep I’m buying a rock crawler or a $5,000 rig with a blown motor to build from the ground up. For this one, though, that I’m high-waying around the country from badge to badge, I like the setup. If I want to take an extra measure to protect my C’s and FAD, so be it.
