Sitting at 91 days now waiting for a scheduled date and D1 status.

I mentioned in an earlier reply in this thread that my employer is now starting to talk about a return to the office for the IT workers (I'm on the cyber side). I'm currently driving a 2007 Honda Accord with almost 200,000 miles on it and put $2,000 repairs in it since ordering my Jeep in late April. The Honda needs to go, it has about $1,200 deferred work that it needs if its going to be driven long term.

I just sent a last ditch email to my salesperson and sales manager asking them to reach out to Jeep for any info. If they can't get any information back from Jeep I'm going to start looking at what's on dealer lots or in transit. I'm finding a few vehicles in transit that meet most of what I'm looking for, but nothing that is an exact match.

Even my wife who is the most patient person I know is encouraging me to see what is out there so we can get the new vehicle.

A lot of what is "in transit" ends up being sold orders that are already going to other people. I've run into that. But I had a friend in Texas that was told that the vehicle couldn't be found and she told them exactly where the Wrangler was on the lot and ended up buying it that day. It's a beautiful 2024 Rubicon. She didn't know how lucky she was at the time, but I've told her and so have a few others.

Sales Manager called me back a few minutes ago. Stated that once the VIN is issued the order cannot be changed. He also stated that he spoke to his rep at Jeep and didn't have any information. At the end of the call he asked if I still wanted the Jeep and he could sell it to someone else if I don't want it. The tone of the call does not sit well with me.
His/her tone is dead true. If you ordered a non 4xe to a CARB state, then that jeep will sell at a premium. If you ordered a Rubicon X 3.6, it'll be like gold. They will 100% make more if you walk away then they would if they sell it to you.

Today, my salesman and sales manager told me there was no order issues with manual transmissions, However, from this forum and others, I find that very hard to believe since none are being built. Day 51 and anxiously waiting. 2Dr Willys Sarge MT
my dealer confirmed the same, no order issues with a MT. Yet here my order sits at 78 days.

My sales guy responds to my texts within an hour or so and messages me every Monday morning with what his tracking system shows. That being said, there has been no movement on 3.6 Rubicon X's as of this day 7/26/23. No one has had one built. They are all still pending . My completion date moved from 7/26 to 8/4. If you ordered a Rubicon X in 3.6, there is not much to update. Also, I'll add that all of us who have been waiting since March and April have had no movement on any tracker since 6/22, right after you placed your order, so we have had no info since you made yours. I hope this provides more macro context.
Yeah it’s super odd. Here’s a screenshot of my tracker. You’ll note 33 days in production with a delivery date of... Friday. It’s not showing a build sheet now, but it was 30m ago. The build sheet add/remove game really makes me assume misfiring IT systems.

When I asked about it they automatically escalated, and now they tell me it has shipped and the reiterated the existing date. Though they say it shipped but as you can see, tracker data says something else. I followed up with Jeep Chat and asked about the discrepancy and they told me a couple of interesting things.

1. That it was escalated because the tracker hasn’t updated, not because it was slow. Thus, implying that it is progressing and they have a data issue. They’ve assured me it shipped.

2. Also told me they only have the website with the chat, and the specialist has more accurate visibility.

So the whole thing smells like tracker data is screwed up, so things are getting “stuck”, but actually moving some Internally. Obviously with some exceptions.

We’ll see if it’s here Friday. It’s a 3.6 AT Rubi X with SOT in Hydro Blue.

Edit: Even though the tracker now says no build sheet, I can reliably pull it from the site itself using the VIN. Maybe try this to see if yours exists or there’s progress?

Edit 2: The hinge reinforcement is almost certainly going to the custom shop (which it calls out on my build sheet), which used to take a couple weeks post build. That is another possibly for Rubi X delay — that’s counted as “production.”

Well folks picked up my '24 today from Mitch @ Ourisman. The entire experience has been the been the best yet. My last two buys in NJ are a joke compared to the service these guys provided. Maybe it's a Jersey thing but totally worth the day trip. Charged me up and fueled me too before I hit the road.

A couple of observations:
- Tha anvil in person really is a nice color. Never seen it before and it looks a lot darker in person.
- The grill in person really does look different. At first I was unsure, then it grew on me where I didn't care for either and now I think it just works looking at it finally in person. It's nice design and I'm not just saying that because I have it :P
- The screen is really big in person. They integrated it quite nicely!
- I noticed the different color stitching across the dash from gold to white. I thought this was going to be a turn off and something to complain about but I think it actually works well. Kinda gives a contrast when looking at in person. Maybe its the gold combo that the Sahara's use (BTW the gold is quite dark in person). Overall I'm digging it.
- And lastly the wait was totally worth it. :)

Wish you all the best for those in queue.

I believe yours would be one of the first Rubi X 3.6’s to be delivered! ??

I sure hope you get your's Friday but my money says no way in heck you do. If I were a betting man, I'd put money on after August 20 for you to lay aching eyes on it. Lets hope I am wrong.

Oh I have no expectations of getting it Friday. In fact, we have a road trip planned early August and it’s actually better if late August happens because the car I’m trading is a better fit for road-trips! I’m in no hurry, its just… odd.

Maybe I should check and see if Stellantis is hiring database engineers!

Than you, Electrojeep who started this thread as it approaches 200 plus pages! It is therapeutic to endure the wait in this waiting room. Plus I have learned so much and feel invested in watching people finally get their dream Jeeps.

Should read “Thank you!!!” Still haven’t figured out how to edit on this forum. And I teach English, so this is really going to bug me. Thank you, ElectroJeep!

Though I just noticed that my build sheet now has a couple things in it that it didn’t have yesterday.

SPECIAL SCHEDULING CONDITION VII — Google tells me it’s a priority added at the factory when there’s an issue or allocation problem to push it through faster. Anyone else have this?

FUEL FILL/BATTERY CHARGE — Obvious, but new.

So something is happening I guess.

Thank you! That was the whole reason for starting the thread… therapy. I myself approach 120 days waiting for D1 while others have taken delivery. We’ve shared ideas, thoughts, frustrations, complained and celebrated when delivery day comes… that’s the whole purpose… share information and we’ll all get through the experience together… some just much longer than others ?
