I just heard back from a Jeep rep specialist regarding being in production for so long:
“At this present time, your new vehicle has been Waiting on inspection prior to release for shipping. Estimated ship date is 08-05-23 , but subject to change . Currently, a delivery estimate is not yet available to share. “
So hopefully I will see some movement soon?

I wish I had a build sheet that was toying with me, lol.

In all seriousness, I e-mailed my salesguy this morning since the trackers all appear to be off, but I have to say...I don't feel valued by him. He never got back to me when the issue was the tow weight 2 weeks ago (even when I told him we were looking at camping trailers) and now I'm just asking for any kind of update on the build. He's never contacted me yet about it other than to say the order was placed on the 19th of June. After placing an order that's 70K or so, I'd have thought he'd be a little more interested. After all, it's an almost guaranteed sale for him.

What are your salespeople like? I suppose they differ across the board.

My sales guy responds to my texts within an hour or so and messages me every Monday morning with what his tracking system shows. That being said, there has been no movement on 3.6 Rubicon X's as of this day 7/26/23. No one has had one built. They are all still pending . My completion date moved from 7/26 to 8/4. If you ordered a Rubicon X in 3.6, there is not much to update. Also, I'll add that all of us who have been waiting since March and April have had no movement on any tracker since 6/22, right after you placed your order, so we have had no info since you made yours. I hope this provides more macro context.

We basically loaded up an Anvil Willys:
XR 35
Dual Top
Tech Group
Convenience Group

You only live once! Let the wait begin.
Just did the same today but in a Rubicon flavor - minus your dual top. I’m a hardtop/sunrider user.
I also went with the winch package because I would have added one anyway.
This will be the 3rd JL in my driveway.

I saw an Anvil Willys while I was at my dealership - can’t wait to drive off the lot in a JL that color.

is the winch package a dealer installed option? since I didn't notice it on the configurator for the Willys. Thanks!

My bad - I ordered a Rubicon. I did a horrible job writing my post. I’ll edit it to clarify.

Rubicon's get it if you add the steel bumper/winch package. Rubicon X comes with steel bumpers, but you still have to add the winch.

Crazy question, Id rather ask here than ask my dealer and look like a fool..... Do dealerships offer 3 month leases? I need a vehicle bad to get to work while I await my build. My last vehicle was totaled and I live in a small town with no uber.
Unfortunately no. I asked, as my 2023 was deemed a total loss and now am waiting on my replacement 2024.

I'd probably have to cancel it and order somewhere else. Don't think you can transfer the order?

I'd be ok if it wasn't just crickets on his end. I get that these things take time. I e-mailed this morning and he hasn't even responded. Never answered my towing questions...it's been 2 weeks today and his last e-mail said he'd get back to me ASAP about it :D

Hopefully I'll get something from him in the morning about movement. My salesman didn't know much of anything and he'd even said they just had a training session on the new Wrangler's when my husband and popped in an ordered it. Not a very good one by any indication. He didn't mention the hinge gate and I just thought it would come with the package so I didn't add it. I asked about towing (was assured it was 5000lbs, and the rock slides/step). Still don't know about the rock slide/step, but I didn't add that either.

I have a totally clean 2019 V8 Grand Cherokee Overland with 14,500 miles on it as a trade in so I hope they give me what it's worth. I've always gotten what I wanted on trade in because I keep my cars really clean and they always have low miles. Usually salespeople are pretty surprised when they check my trades. This is actually the most mileage I've ever put on a car.

I will also get a family discount on the new order.

He's not going to like the way I answer the customer satisfaction survey. They expect 10's...he's got about a 3 for taking the order.
The hinge gate was an ordering line option flaw from Stellantis. When you placed your order for the X, the hinge gate was not "grayed out" to indicate a standard option. However, when the order was entered and the VON issued, it should correct itself and the $$ should be deducted from the final order sheet. I have the pre order sheet where it shows me being charged for the gate, then another sheet from the next day that showed the hinge gate as included, no extra charge. As far as your dealer/salesman goes, good luck expecting an expert in Jeeps when most of them have no idea of the Jeep nuances. They are car salesman and very few are actual product experts. 90% of us on this forum are more informed than the salesmen.

My Jeep was shipped yesterday!! Now has an estimated delivery date of 8/14. It showed 8/2 until today.
How did you find out? I had a similar delivery date/area.

Anyone have any lease money factors they’d be willing to share? Going over paperwork for my Jeep to sign and I can’t get the math to match when using the training docs for july another user provided. I shouldn’t have an issue qualifying for tier 1 (they’re showing my credit score as 852). It’s hurting my head.

Sitting at 91 days now waiting for a scheduled date and D1 status.

I mentioned in an earlier reply in this thread that my employer is now starting to talk about a return to the office for the IT workers (I'm on the cyber side). I'm currently driving a 2007 Honda Accord with almost 200,000 miles on it and put $2,000 repairs in it since ordering my Jeep in late April. The Honda needs to go, it has about $1,200 deferred work that it needs if its going to be driven long term.

I just sent a last ditch email to my salesperson and sales manager asking them to reach out to Jeep for any info. If they can't get any information back from Jeep I'm going to start looking at what's on dealer lots or in transit. I'm finding a few vehicles in transit that meet most of what I'm looking for, but nothing that is an exact match.

Even my wife who is the most patient person I know is encouraging me to see what is out there so we can get the new vehicle.

I spoke with my dealer yesterday, and while I’ve only been waiting 30 days, my dealer said I’m now at least another 3 months out, not including any potential strike. Another dealer has some 2024’s on the lot that are close to what I ordered and I will be going to look at them tomorrow after I leave work. It is what it is, and you have to do what is best for you and your family.

Sales Manager called me back a few minutes ago. Stated that once the VIN is issued the order cannot be changed. He also stated that he spoke to his rep at Jeep and didn't have any information. At the end of the call he asked if I still wanted the Jeep and he could sell it to someone else if I don't want it. The tone of the call does not sit well with me.

I’m pretty sure if you haven’t signed any paperwork, you are not obligated to that dealer. Pushing 6 months on a new order is a bit ridiculous when there is no change in your status. I don’t know what the holdup is, and to be honest, that isn’t my problem. Finding a fairly reliable vehicle to get around is my problem. If a dealer can’t understand that, that’s on them. Shop around, you might be surprised at what you find.
