You are welcome. The cross sectioning of the DPF was much appreciated here. I have monitored the DPF pressure delta for over 4,000 miles and rarely see it over one psi, when mashing the pedal it will rise a bit under boost. My driving habits with the 3.0 always give time to run warm, thus burning away the junk gasses. I use the JK for short trips.Thank you for the link. Very informative. Explains diesel exhaust systems quite well.
What state do you live in, do you do lots of highway driving, and what's your average speed?...the MPG's have really picked up this spring. Currently at 29.8
Michigan, about 30% highway with 65 mph max. Currently the dash indicates 30.2 and may still climb, you can see the snip of the fuel spreadsheet. Sad to here of your 23 mpg. What state do you live in, do you do lots of highway driving, and what's your average speed?
Also are you going off of what the Jeep is telling you you're getting or are you calculating it yourself at the pump?
I seem to be averaging 23 mpg lately.
Interesting. I did a test a while back to see what I could get if I drove like an old man. On one fuel tank, I was able to get 33.45 MPG. I kept it at a max of 55 mph and never smashed the pedal.Michigan, about 30% highway with 65 mph max. This is a stock vehicle with an elderly driver who is rarely in a rush. The following is the fuel history.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still beating the build sheet MPGs by 1.4 MPG.
I was kind of hoping closer to 35mpg but I understand there's a lot of fudge factor in the trip timer. It's definitely the best MPG I've achieved so far. Should be interesting to see how this changes once I'm running 35s and not dumping soot back into my engine anymore. Maybe another attempt in the fall... ?‍![]()
