Just secured my time off at Work, our Hotel and are starting to plot our weekend. As 1st time both attendee’s & Wrangler owners to Jeep Beach Week. We see a basic itenary of events but are wondering what other Jeepers will be doing outside of the corporate event. Really looking forward to a few days of meeting new people, driving our Punk’n 23 JB in its native territory. But wanted to hear suggestions, other off-site places to possibly visit,expect and or past finds. Looking forward to Jeep Beach 2023 everyone!

While in Daytona, be sure to do / drive the "Tomoka Loop". Ask locals to point you there..

Do, stop by Porkie's of Deland BBQ in Deland which is real close by and well worth he drive. Tell them to make your pulled pork sandwich with "Texas Toast".... and be sure as one of your side order's, to get their "dirty taters". Porkie's BBQ is my go to BBQ joint in that neck of the woods. Terrific BBQ.

IF you will be in Daytona a few days.... DO, go up Highway A1A along the coast to St. Augustine.
Real nice, ocean route drive and St. Augustine has lots to do/see.

For the absolute BEST Hamburger, Ruben or Wings in Daytona Beach, go to the Daytona Brickyard.
Casual it is and the food is terrific..

A favorite stopping spot of mine!

Well worth the few minutes drive to Port Orange for a Rittter's.. Terrific Custard!

IF you are into Harley Davidson's you will want to visit Destination Daytona.

It's located real real close to the Daytona International Speedway and as a Harley lover you will truly appreciate/enjoy Destination Daytona.

Me and my partner will be arriving Friday, and excited for some of the Owners club perks. Also would be cool to see which numbers others are. Mine is #375, going to be installing badges and mandatory stickers before arriving. Took the top off today! ?

Question, I am thinking about doing a day trip to Beach Week in Daytona. Do I have to register or purchase anything to drive on the beach or go through the vendor area?

Had been kicking the idea around about going to St. Augustine to get some bourbon anyways.

As a lifelong resident of the area, I will offer some opinions to your inquiry.

You do not need to be a registered ticket holder to drive on the beach during the week or go to the vendor show on Friday/Saturday. I believe last year to get into the vendor show it was $10 or $15 to enter. Well worth the trip as this is about the only thing I do anymore. Close to 300 vendors on display.

A day pass for driving on the beach is $20 with one free reentry same day. I would suggest doing this sometime during the week before Saturday/Sunday. Those last two days it can get very congested and not worth the headache. During the week it will be less crowded with more spaces to park and sit down and watch the wildlife go by.

If you are into large crowds and rowdy venues, Jeep Beach events are for you. There is something going on every day/evening.

As @Rhinebeck01 wrote above, if you like to stay in small groups, or prefer doing things alone, hop on A1A North and just drive. You will see a lot more than expected and plenty of stops along the way to eat and explore. It's a short day trip to St. Augustine and that is a whole other world. You can also drive on the beach there and most places are 4x4 only and can get tricky. You will have to buy another pass to get on the beach as St. A is in another county.

Plenty to do in the area outside of JB23.

Through just stumbling through looking at Jeep Beach Event. I realized I should have received a box with my purchase. I reached out to the Dealership and they didn’t have a clue to what I was talking about. Any suggestions on how to recover my owners club box? I did call Jeep and they opened a ticket, but with the event so close not sure if they will have a solution in time. Wasn’t planning on going at first but with the stuff in the box, I was going to try and make it work.
