are those ratchet straps? What did you use underneath the top? I can't tell from the pics. I am planning on building one of these for my garage.

They are just Husky ratchet straps from HD. They come 4 for $16. I had to add the 5th in the front because i set the 4 points too far back not taking into account that the rear window has to be open during lifting. Notice the 5th harness w/ the chain keeps the topper forward.
Will be building thw wooden hanging shelf for under the topper this weekend.

so this hook is what's holding your top? That's what I don't want to do. I might add part of a pool noodles to protect the top.

Looks good! What size tire are you running?
They are Milestar Patagonia’s 33x12.5x17s
I got them for a steal and some great looking rims. The 33s fit the fenders great with no lift although I haven’t tested out full flex yet.

I signed up for the 25th Annual Gateway to the Cumberlands Jamboree. Anyone else going, Any Jamboree sub-forums here? I last went in 2001 I think.
I have never attended a Jamboree (1st time Wrangler owner), but this is pretty close to me. I will be looking into it.

So what I'd like to do to my JLUR today is wire the CB to a hot 12V wire behind the glove box.....everything is in place except now I have 2 terminal blocks with an assortment of wires. There was a post on here once, maybe not in this thread, where someone in the know identified the 2 wires to use.
I have been playing with the search engine and cannot seem to fine the right words to ask......anyone have the link to help me find the wires....
Thanks In Advance

I think this might be the post you're looking for. I bookmarked it a while ago.

So I'm looking for these wires...…I have one more question that I'm afraid of the answer. Did not get the Aux option because didn't think I would ever tow again or add lights because I got the lighting package...…..will I find these wires if I didn't get that package? Are they just blanked off, or not put in at all...….?

Roam side steps:
Stubby Antenna:
Cut Euro Fenders:
Plasti dip front hooks and rear tow hook:

Pretty busy Sunday with the Jeep. I also built the door holding cart from another thread. (Im gonna have to modify it though as the width of the carriers are more suited to JK doors.)

The wiring of the side steps was the most time consuming but it all worked out, thanks to a Roam Side steps thread.

It’s a little tough but not too bad. Watch this video. It should help you out.

Thanks for the reply. With a little patience, a little elbow grease, and a lot of words my pastor wouldn't be proud of, I finally was able to line everything up and tighten down!

In a few months, I'll feel sorry for the Katzkin installers though!
