Not at all. I would definitely buy it and use a rear facing car seat. In fact, it’s probably better for one. The car seat will fit better I think.

Nothing easy yet at least that I know of. I bet in a couple of months there will be.

I finally picked my Rubicon up after waiting since January 18! (Actually my 2nd one ) Now I can finally start doing things to it.

Installed rear seat recline kit and a rear cargo area tray seat back liner.

You can’t tell from the picture but recline kit makes a HUGE difference.

When you fold the seats down, is there now room for the head rests to fit in the floor boards without them resting at a slant, thus freeing up the floor boards for more cargo?

Yup, 3500 is the max if you're going to hook up and go - incidentally my grand wagoneer and my mom's grand Cherokee have the exact same rating without a weight distributing hitch. There are plenty of people that tow more with less tow rig safely and plenty that tow less with more tow rig unsafely.

I wouldn't recommend towing over the tow rating without consulting with somebody like can am RV first, those guys are the experts and have some interesting setups (think 8000lbs airstream behind a jag sedan and the like).

In my case I made sure I got the correct sized wd bars (specced for 350-550lbs tongue weight), spent time setting up the hitch at the proper angle, measured the front and rear drop once loaded and hooked up to make sure there was enough weight on the front wheels, made sure everything in the camper was loaded properly over the wheels, and was prepared to turn around and hook up my truck if it was unstable, but it was fine.
