Well, it seems you time has come lol.I've been waiting weeks for the right moment to use that
It may , I think those trim pieces prevent mud from flying over the bumper more than they do save on mpg .Still, any bit helps as far as reducing the drag of the vehicle.. I know its not going to slip through the air like a BMW I8 but it's still greatly improved over the JK's aero.
My daily drive is mostly highway, so I spend a good amount of time going 65-70, and I'm leaving my suspension and wheels/tires stock, so the air dam does have its usefulness for me.It may , I think those trim pieces prevent mud from flying over the bumper more than they do save on mpg .
depends : if you DD in town mostly then it wont matter if there on or off and the air dam will work if you don't lift your rig .
4 or 7 degree additional angle of the windshield does help some
Its still a box with a lot of out cropping parts to resist wind
If you get between 16 & 17 mpg in town dd with a lift and heavy tires than your doing good !
exactly !My daily drive is mostly highway, so I spend a good amount of time going 65-70, and I'm leaving my suspension and wheels/tires stock, so the air dam does have its usefulness for me.
yes, adding all the little things that help a little bit will still add to a lot. But we've hit the point where If we really start to improve the Wrangler's aerodynamics then we have to start removing things that make a Wrangler what it is. Its going to have a lot of drag, but I'm okay with that. Otherwise I'd be driving a Civic Si.
Jeep yes, Wrangler to be specific.exactly !
I knew what I signed up for and really wasn't expecting 17mpg but Im getn it so " cool".
Its a Jeep right ?
Yes, I knew what I was signing up for too. Rugged off road capable SUV, with all terrain tires. I'm glad they could do what improvements they could to the mileage, but in the end, even the JK would have been a small improvement over my pickup anyways.exactly !

Yes it does. Jeep will always be the Wrangler style. The others are Jeep cars.when I hear Jeep I think Jeep !
not Cherokee or compass or Renegade ...these are just SUV's with a Jeep logo on it
1st GP turned into Jeep if that makes sense
My first thought was "get that thing out of the sea water"!These jeep beach pictures are awesome to look at but I can't help thinking about all that saltwater!!!!!!
