What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Why use a phone mount? I had thought about it but after I plug my phone in and use Android Auto I don't see the need. I just plug it in my center console and let it sit in there where as anything I would need is on the big screen. This is one of the features I love about the JL is the integration with your phone to keep us from being distracted drivers.

Is that the same thing as the Cargo Basket? Did you have drill at all into the Jeep or does it attache without permanent modifications?

maybe to hold their phone? :cwl: Not sure if you haven't noticed, but the JL doesn't have much of spare room for extra items other than 2 cups. The "you can't put anything larger than a pack of gum" door nets aren't very helpful.

Yes kids fit in car seats no problem with seat recline kit. The only thing I noticed was the seats did not fold all the way flat with recline kit.

The bolts require a breaker bar to remove and I added loc tight to each bolt.

Mine either rests in the slot between the cup holders or in the large center console. By mounting it in this fashion my assumption was to use it and be able to see the screen which is why I was asking. Everything needed while driving is on the big screen and or voice controlled so easily.

You look like a really tall guy. Do you have problem fitting? My friend is 6'4" and the seat does not go back far enough for him.

For all of you that have done the plasti-dip to the inside of the hard top (WHICH LOOKS EPIC I MIGHT ADD!!!) - do you know if it is possible to remove the Mopar liners? I ordered mine with that from the factory and i would rather pull them and then do the Plasti-Dip rather than trying to mask around them. Love any thoughts or POV's. Thx!

The liners are just velcro on. Take them off. Will have to cover the strips that stay on the hardtop. My back one flew off when I was on highway with all the door windows down.

Put on the @Boomerang tire cover. Overall pleased with how it looks. The rubber insert was a bit loose and I found it to obstruct the view a bit so I left it off. Will trim it and see how it is after.

Been thinking of getting one in Firecracker Red, for the winter months. Summer wheels won't fit. Now that i see yours, ............SOLD.

Sprayed my muffler and tailpipe with black high heat paint today AND put on the window visors AND changed my horns. Busy, busy, busy.

Mine doesn't feel secure in the cup holder slot and I don't like it so close to a cold condensating drink. If I put it in the center console I'll forget it when I get out. So for me, I just want a magnetic mount to hold the phone, not that I need to use/see it for anything. It really does integrate very well with the stereo either through Android Auto or bluetooth.
