What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

New set of 285/70r17 Nitto Terra Grapplers and the spare. Deal was too good to pass up. 2018 JLU Sport S. Next will be some sort of lift and sway bar disconnects. Definitely will need to regear sometime in the future.

Did you reprogram the computer for better shift points. 285 shouldn’t be that bad.

Plastidip sprayed the grill black and inserts red today. I think I’m going to fully embrace the red accents.

That looks awesome! You just gave me an idea for my Firecracker, except I might have it painted. But like I said, looks great!

Finally, finally, finally. I broke KZ-L status Thursday, then got the surprise phone call from my dealership today! Still can't bring her home, but I had to go see her. I met Wruby for the first time. Dealership experience was superb. Watched her get unloaded from the truck (met the driver even), drooled over her, then dealer allowed me to start her up (only 2 miles!!!), and drive her into the service bay for the first time. They are storing her in there (out of the elements) until Monday when I pick her up. Love, love, love how she looks and feels. Am looking forward to being a FIRST TIME, Jeep owner. Time to make some new memories. Thanks JL forum - you've been a BIG help the last few months.

Will post more when I bring her home Monday/early next week after I get her detailed.

I have the rough country lift and relocation bracket but waiting for install after i get wheels and tires but im in a dilemma because i really hate those halogen factory lights and thinking of doing the lights first but the aftermarket is so slow and im inclining to go hid projector route but is a little pricey but love the look. Anyone has use hidprojector lights? It says i have to wait 1 to 2 weeks after i send them my headlights. Not sure how im going to be dealing with no headlights for that time. The after market for the jl headlights are almost non existent. Any thoughts?

Thanks. Did you wire it to one of the aux switches or hook it up to your trailer wiring harness so it would turn the lights on only in reverse? Also, I'm thinking about using a towing hitch mounting bracket to connect the lights like this one - https://www.amazon.com/OMOTOR-Brackets-Trailer-Driving-Lighting/dp/B06XPFNVZN

Just finished installing NFab sliders with removable steps - took about 2hrs by myself - great step and slider combo.

The same thing I have been doing for the last 86 days...waiting on my JL to enter D1 status and be built...much less delivered...And now that we have lost the tracking spreadsheet, I will have to rely on Jeep Information Center and my dealership to give me updates. Feeling the Jeep Love...for sure!!

Added door sill guards, all four grab handles, screen protector, and about to install the antennaX from Amazon. Also bought the rear third brake light relocation kit that would be added in the future once I purchase tires and lift.
