I like the wheels on my JLR, just wish the 17x7.5 oem rims were a little wider.
Does anyone make a wider Rubicon style wheel?
Maybe 1/2" or 1" wider than oem.

As a second question . . . .
What is the widest "recommended" tire that can be mounted on the 17x7.5 oem Rubicon wheel?
The operative word here is "recommended." ;)

Thank you.

For a 7.5” Rim width, a 33… Some will mount 35’s, but most reputable tire shops, won’t mount them.

So, with let's say a 295 or 305 tire, will this 17x8.5 +10mm offset wheel have any poke?

A stock wheel is +44mm offset so a +10mm will be 34mm closer to the outside of the fender. I am running Icon Alphas with 0mm offset in 17 x 8.5 and 37x12.5x17 tires. Here is a side shot (take into account the XR fender extensions). The +10mm wheels will be 10mm less poke than this:

Stock Rubi wheels with spacers and 37s. Poor man’s bead locks. Accidentally ran them at 5 psi. YMMV!

That’s why I like to run my tires wide for the wheel they’re mounted on. My 295 Mickey Thompson BB AT is the widest they recommend for a 7.5” wheel. Any shop should have no problem following the tire manufacturers recommendation.

The first thing I did to my '21 392 was to put 37x12.5's on all OEM wheels (17x7.5). Never had a problem with them on the trail when aired down. I have them on aftermarket wheels now, however.

It’s hard to tell +10 from zero. But +10 should be right at flush, zero just outside of the fender. No “poke” is a good thing in my opinion.

Where did you get the tow loop?

Those are Maximus-3 tow loops, but given the $hitty support they have given on the safety/design issues on the front tow loops, I no longer recommend them.

I believe with +10mm, you will still have some poke--look at mine at the bottom of the rear fender, I probably have 1-1/2" of tire out of the fender edge (not counting the XR extension). It is harder to see on the front fenders because they taper, but the rear fenders are fairly straight.

I have the Quadratec Morphic wheel but in black with 315/70/17 KO2s. They stick out about 2.25”-2.5” from fender flares.
