Okay, I know to some this may seem strange, but I am confident that someone out there has experienced this.

I have a 2021 Wrangler Rubicon 4 door with the Ecodiesel. A few months ago I had it lifted (2" Mopar) and 35" x 12.5" Nitto Ridge Grappler tires installed. The ride was better than stock and I loved it.

I then decided to have a set of 37" x 13.5" installed. And since then, there is a noticeable vibration sound (hardly any feel) that changes frequency with speed. It starts at around 15 mph and speeds up as I accelerate to about 30 mph then goes away. It is driving me mad.

A manager with my local Discount Tire took a ride with me and he heard it, and said it could be a bad batch of tires. So they ordered me a new set and installed them. And it still does it.

Before I give up and go back to 35" tires, does anyone have any clue what I am experiencing and how to fix it?

Thanks in advance.

Just saw this thread. mine do/did this. was super noticeable day 1 when I installed them and I was worried for a minute it was something driveshaft related, but it was just the tires. similar speeds to what you notice. mellowed and bit and I dont really notice it that much now at all. either its gone (or nearly gone) or I got used to it. I'd say more likely the former, because I dont normally get used to things, I get more annoyed over time. I have had them on for 5500 miles now. My 285/70/17 on my JKUR didnt do that at all. but my take is the tires are much bigger and the gaps between the tread are likely bigger. Seems like the cost of looking good lol.

Thanks for the info. I do agree that the noise could be coming from the tread blocks.

What other tires are recommended? I don't care much for the mud terrain sound, that is what drew me to the Nitto as they are pretty quiet. I just don't understand why the 35" tire was great and the 37" makes this annoying vibration sound.

I was able to ride in a JL with 37" BFG K02, no vibration sound/feel. They were almost too smooth.

I also road in a JL with 35" MT AT, very slight vibration sound/feel, but at least it was consistent.

I do not expect any of these tires to ride smooth as silk, it is just odd that my Nitto 35" had no issue and the Nitto 37" are driving me mad. So, I'm going to switch. I'm likely going with a MT, but not sure yet.

My 38's do the same thing, it's most noticeable in that 0-30mph range, HWY speed they are quiet.

Exactly. It's a low speed issue.
Ya, I want to say my JK (37s) did the same but I don't remember. Sometimes I notice, others I don't. I should contact the shop and ask them to replace them with 39" KO2s or KM3s

I'm sorry to learn about the troubles with the 37's @JSA , however glad to hear the replacement set resolved the issue.

Thank you for your business!
