Okay, I know to some this may seem strange, but I am confident that someone out there has experienced this.
I have a 2021 Wrangler Rubicon 4 door with the Ecodiesel. A few months ago I had it lifted (2" Mopar) and 35" x 12.5" Nitto Ridge Grappler tires installed. The ride was better than stock and I loved it.
I then decided to have a set of 37" x 13.5" installed. And since then, there is a noticeable vibration sound (hardly any feel) that changes frequency with speed. It starts at around 15 mph and speeds up as I accelerate to about 30 mph then goes away. It is driving me mad.
A manager with my local Discount Tire took a ride with me and he heard it, and said it could be a bad batch of tires. So they ordered me a new set and installed them. And it still does it.
Before I give up and go back to 35" tires, does anyone have any clue what I am experiencing and how to fix it?
Thanks in advance.
