Finally had the chance to take the doors off for the first time today. Just because. When putting them back on I was plugging in the driver door and saw an LED blinking down in the pits of paneling LOL. Look who I found! Big brother.
it was behind the door plug hanging loose right behind the panel plugged into a flat connector and blue wire bundle. Buhbye big brother.

Is this from the factory or from your wife's private detective?
Weren't there reports here of some dealerships etching windows and installing Lojack trackers in their new vehicles?

Ever wonder how Jeep sends you emails letting you know your oil change is due. This is a tracker that, from what I understand, monitors your driving habits, location and in the event of repo let’s them find you. Big brother device for sure. I’m not paranoid but just assume not be tracked.

Wouldn't that functionality be tied into the stereo or ECU instead of just a random tracker placed in the door?

If this is a Stellantis installed GPS unit, do we know more about the purpose and the impact if removed?

Is this unit on any JL, or only on 2021 MY and newer?
