Probably a father that simply wants his son to be safe. He had no clue that someone would take offense to his son receiving a kickass vehicle for his 16th birthday.

yeah, I would have loved to have gotten something like that when I was 16 however, the car I did get I smashed into a Cadillac a few months later, so I'm kind of glad I got a cheaper car to start off with.

Any premium soft toppers in here? Curious about the sound level. Seems from what I've read, along with a few tons of salt, that it is no worse than the hardtop.

1992 Saturn SL1 with a massive 1.9 liter 85Hp engine. Somehow I still managed to drive that thing like a maniac. Still a Topaz might have been an upgrade for me.

Mine was a 55, primer red, chevy. Someone had intentions of it being a stock-car. So it was a bit sporty. Had a quick and dirty bright yellow paint applied and then some old fart backed into me in parking lot. Got rid of that and got a brandy new old's thru my dad's GM discount. Now THAT was a bitchin ride! Blue with white interior. oh ya
