I guess it depends on whether you believe it gives your Jeep character or if it’s going to annoy you...if it’s going to annoy you...fix it

Looks like it’s just me & my eldest niece who’s 12 headed to the innovation fest tomorrow. That was my original plan, to spend some time just the two of us exploring what she loves at my old school.
She wanted to spend the whole weekend & is already here. In her room. With the door closed. Face timing her friends.
I usually don’t like drinking when they’re here, but I’m basically alone soooooo I think it’s time to uncork!

Lol ... those were my exact thoughts when I saw it. Precisely why I am debating whether keep it or have it fixed.

Yes, it's separated on the underside / inside of gear shift cover.

Well gang, I went to the dealership today with the plan of ordering my Mojito Rubi. Thought we had nailed down the price etc, and wanted to find out what they’d give me for my trade.

As it turns out, the “all in” price they gave me wasn’t, and I wasted 2 hrs to find out they are $1400 more than another dealership, and are offering for my trade.

I walked. (Well, crutched...). Now I’m sore, tired, pissed off and still JL-less.

Yes, it's separated on the underside / inside of gear shift cover.

Then perhaps it is designed that way. You could ask someone else in the forum to take a pic of their shifter and see if the ‘mark’ is present in other Jeeps.
