Probably nobody has done this. You won't hit 99 MPH. JLs are electronically limited to 97. If you smashed the accelerator pedal at or above 97 it will just be ignored. It will be a big nothingburger.

That's probably a good thing too. A JL is definitely not the right vehicle for doing triple digit speeds.

When I saw it, I had to read it twice.

I have a bad habit of typing in Jeep in the search engine and then hitting the news button to see what pops up on a daily basis. Like the news from Sarasota, Fl you never know whatcha gonna get.

After my latest sets of mods to the JLR, I'm afraid to drive the Jeep that fast.

Some weird old dude was parting out a 80's car that was made from stainless steel.

Here's a couple of parts that were procured cheap.

So no, I've been too chicken to try to keep the hammer down and see what happens.

I have taken a number of cars well north of 99MPH, both on the track and on the highway. Can’t say that I have felt the urge to do so in a 2 door JL.

I pucker up past 70 in mine to tell you the truth but I have no issue going 90 in my Tahoe. The Jeep just feels like it is going to flip over to me past 70. I Deff drive slower anymore. My wife is so happy with that aspect of the Jeep. Anything else regarding the Jeep she cares less unfortunately.
