My salesman said he would check but he didn’t sound very positive. Never heard back from him. I guess when I do hear back it will be exactly what you said. Jeep chat told me it was too late but I called the dealership anyway.

I was able to add XR in D status. The dealer had to call the area rep to make the change, the dealer cannot directly once it is in D.

I wanted to change from black hard top to body color and contacted my dealer not long after order and he said it was too late. Not sure if it was really too late or they just don’t like doing that.

Order placed 7/23. Inquiry to dealer was 8/4 and he responded back 8/4 with too late

I tried doing the same thing - switching to a color matched top. I was too late as well. Ordered 8/5, tried to make the change 8/10. They said once the VIN was assigned it was too late to make any changes.

They are just not wanting to do it. My VIN was assigned 6/6 and I added XR on 6/26. Guess it depends on your dealer, I am lucky and working directly with the sales manager at mine and he has been awesome.

Bump to see if anyone’s ships out today or tomorrow

My ship date was suppose to be yesterday the 23rd.
status code is JS- shipped to storage as of yesterday.
called Dealer today and they’ve pushed back my ship date to 09/08 ?
Pointless to be at the finish line when it’s just going to sit there for 2 more weeks.

My ship date is the 26th. Today JC said that my vehicle is built pending installation of additional equipment. Same status it was in on Monday. They also said the ship date the dealer has is an estimated ship date that was provided early on in the process, I believe when the VIN is assigned. Think it would take some kind of miracle for mine to ship this Thursday.

Man talk about lucky. If you would of bought it and took off they would of jerked you around replacing engines.
