California New Wheels and Lift Kit

Hello all!

I just ordered a 2021 Sport Unlimited and was curious to what the best Leveling kit/Lift kit I should be looking at when it arrives. I have noticed that many standard sports have the front lower than the rear and I'm wondering if just leveling it would be good enough?

Looking for the best recommendations for Leveling kits/Lift Kit as well as new tires that would look nice with them.

I'm in Chino Hills and have a full set of Rubicon springs, shocks and wheels/tires that might make your setup just right. The wheels are in my profile pic.

Welcome to the forum. Just FYI this is the market place section for buying and selling parts. You should start a thread in the tech section instead and you will find more info, especially on this topic.

When comes to planning a lift and wheels, you should try to be future proof as possible so you upgrade just once. You have to decide how high or how big you want to go. Then you have to figure out whether you will add any additional weights to the jeep (such as steel bumpers, winch, roof rack, etc) as those will impact you final suspension height.

For me I added the weight first and then determine how high I want to go and how big of wheels I want to run with. This way I know exactly what you will get.

Also finding someone's build journals and see if theirs fit your style and find out what they are running.... takes a lot of guess work out of it.

Keep in mind that most of the lifts on the market are marketed for Rubicons and they are at least 1.5 inch higher than a sport. So if a lift is advertised as a 2 in lift, you will need to add another 1.5 inches on top of that for your sport which will result in a 3.5" lift.

The new setup:

2.5" MetalCloak Lift, wheels and tires was around $5500 Installed.

But I have the old stuff off the Rubicon that could set your truck up really nice.
