I have arranged with an expert Jeep shop in a somewhat distant city to install a Teraflex lift, Eaton E-Locker and another item or two on my Wrangler. I will be going from 32-inch tires on stock wheels to 35-inch Goodyear Duratracs on 17 x 9 Fuel Blitz wheels (4.500 backset). I would like for the wheels and tires to be installed before the vehicle leaves the shop so they can immediately perform the recalibration for the larger tires.
Tire Rack sells the Goodyear and Fuel products, mounted and balanced as a package; and they will ship for free to my Jeep shop. They want to charge me $38.00 per wheel (x 5) for "TPMS Kit" and another $4.99 per wheel for "Black Metal Valve for Schrader Sensor". My Jeep is a 2015 JK Willys with 90K miles and the TPMS appears to be working fine with my current wheels and tires.. Should I include one or both of those items in the shopping cart?
