Wait, why is your Wrangler acting like a tyranny in the first place?tyranny brake?
Keeps him from making any land speed records on the Interstate...Wait, why is your Wrangler acting like a tyranny in the first place?
Beautiful, then it should be able to get tuned out then. You can't really coast with this vehicle, can ya? Or maybe it's the MT tires the willys came with... either way, that's gotta goSort off. It's called compression braking and its more noticeable in a manual transmission when you downshift while going down a hill. The vehicle speed is slowed through the resistance of the engine. An automatic transmission's ability to engine brake depends on the torque converter and ECM tuning.
If you wish to eliminate the deceleration fuel shutoff then yes.Beautiful, then it should be able to get tuned out then. You can't really coast with this vehicle, can ya? Or maybe it's the MT tires the willys came with... either way, that's gotta go
Is yours a Diesel?Just waiting for HD diesel to get their delete kit going and get GDE to custom tune me up
Normally it's considered a good thing because it saves your brakes. Most automatic transmissions don't provide much compression braking.Beautiful, then it should be able to get tuned out then. Ah okay. Deceleration fuel shutoff is entirely different on a gas engine. I've got no experience with the 3.0 so I really can't say if there's an exhaust brake or if its controllable.

The 6.7 on the other hand coasts pretty well without the exhaust brake activated.
